Merry & Bright Holiday Home Tour, Part 2–‘Tis The Season

Merry and Bright Holiday Home Tour from ConfettiStyle

I’m back with part 2 of the Merry & Bright Holiday Home Tour and today I’m sharing more of my holiday decor with you. If you’re coming over from Debbie’s blog Refresh ReStyle, welcome.  And if this is your first time here at ConfettiStyle, I hope you’ll come back often.

If you follow me on Instagram you saw a sneak peek of this  boxwood wreath that is part of my holiday decor.  This 17″ preserved boxwood wreath is from Silk Plants Direct and I can’t even being to tell you how beautiful this wreath is.

I decided to hang the wreath on this large metal wall tile that hangs over our living room sofa. We purchased the tile at an antique market about 15 years ago and it’s one of my treasured pieces. I knew it was the perfect place to hang the wreath…with a big silk bow of course!

Because of the detail on the tile, the texture and lush green color of the wreath combine to mak a pretty statement.

If you’re in the market for high quality artificial plants, flowers and greenery you’ll want to check out Silk Plants Direct.

Now let’s head off to the bedroom.  Back spring I set out to refresh our bedroom decor in a blue and white color theme.  I had a vision but just couldn’t find all the pieces to make the puzzle work.  After months of looking and shopping, I finally found bedding that I liked and everything came together.

Since it’s Christmas I had to add a few holiday touches to the room to make it festive.  A simple drape of garland over the bed, a Christmas pillow and a few holiday touches on the nightstand was all it took.

Check out the holiday art I added to the room.  I found all of these prints on Etsy as downloads and printed them myself.  I hung a small wreath in the center of the grouping to add texture and dimension.

Last year I put an evergreen skirt to my dress form and loved it so much that I did it again this year. The dress from holds a few of my statement necklaces so she’s all ready for the holidays.

Now let’s head over to the dining room.

I always dress out my table during the holiday.  To create the runner, I layered a red runner over black and white polka dot wrapping paper. And the place settings are also layered using a red charger, white china and these black and white buffalo plaid plates I found at HomeGoods. If you haven’t figured it out yet, layering is the key to a pretty tablescape.

One of my favorite touches this year are these white and gold ceramic Christmas trees that mark each place setting. These came from a Hobby Lobby I stopped at on our road trip last month.

I lucked upon these red cloth dinner napkins at Hobby Lobby.  They have a brass colored metal ball trim which makes them so fun.

From the greenery and fresh flowers to the pattern mixing and pops of gold and brass, my holiday table is filled with personality.
