I’ve Missed It–Shopping at Anthropologie

Anthropologie1

It has been months since I’ve been to Anthropologie.  I try to pop in at least once a month to see what new gems they have but my summer travels and work kept me away.

I took a little time this past weekend to drop by the store (in hopes of starting a little Christmas shopping) and there were so many awesome items that I could hardly contain myself.

Anthropologie has always been known as a place to shop for unique home accents,  housewares, jewelry and textiles and this fall they have hit it out of the park with their collections.

Here is a round-up of some of my favorite items (and yes, a few of these came home with me)!

Slide1

I loved the rugged sleekness of the Equestrian Hook they had and can just imagined a row of these in a mud room cabinet.
There were so many really beautiful curtain rod finials but the  Palm Frond Finial and the Gum Blossom Finial  were my favorites.
I showed a picture of this brass Monogram Doorknocker on Instagram and it was a hit with everyone.  I bought one and am planning to use it as a paperweight on my desk.

The Ingrid Flatware really appealed to me because it could easily mix with my gold or silver rimmed china.  And, I think the pattern works for both formal settings and causal tablescapes.
The Embroided Kosala Pillow collection looked really fresh to me because of the ethic/geometric details and the chenille details.
I love any jewelry that combines gold and malachite so you know I had to get these Idalia Drop Earrings.
I’ve been thinking of taking a yoga class and this chic Magic Carpet Yoga Mat just might give me the incentive to do it.
I think this Aiza Tote is a great look for fall and winter.  The black and white pattern is classic and the pop of Chartreuse adds a little fun.

If you don’t have an Anthropologie store in your area, all of these items are available on their website.

p.s.  I also bought this and this  for Christmas gift!

I need to go to Anthropologie and look around! You’ve found a lot of things I now need in my life. I’m going to have to figure out how to make something similar. Those earrings are gorgeous. I’m like you, malachite and gold always look fantastic. Thank you, Shelly for adding beauty to my life.
