LAST MINUTE CHRISTMAS DECORATING IDEAS

DIY BOXWOOD TREE–does the idea of putting up a full size Christmas tree has your head spinning?  If so, why not make your own mini boxwood tree.  You can find the full how-to here but to get started all you’ll need is a few clippings from the yard.  Create two or three trees to stand together on a tabletop and nestle Christmas presents under the table.

PAPER TREE CONESif you’ve got wrapping paper or decorative scrapbook paper lying around you’ve got yourself some cute tabletop cone trees.  Simply roll squares of paper into a cone shape, tape the edges down and add a bead or small ornaments as a tree topper. A cluster of paper trees will look great as a centerpiece or anchoring your Christmas dinner buffet.

GARLAND CENTERPIECE–evergreen garland makes decorating at Christmas so easy.  Drape garland down the center of the dining table and add in a few loose ornaments and pinecones from the yard. You’ve got a festive table ready for entertaining.

CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS TREE–creating a whimsical Christmas tree doesn’t get any simpler than this.  Cut a handful of branches from the yard and place them in a large vase, jar or container.  Hang small ornaments from the limbs and you’ll have a tree full of personality.
