My UpStyled Christmas Stockings

I have an admitted Christmas Stocking addiction.  Every year at Christmas (and at after Christmas sales) as I walk the aisles of my favorite stores, the Christmas stockings call my name.

Over the years I have built up quite a collection.  My velvet stockings get used with I decorate in jewel tones.  My red and white stockings come out when my décor is red and silver and last year I used fur wine bags as stockings which went great with my hand-painted ornament décor.

With my décor this year incorporating the classic colors of red, green, soft gold and burlap I decided I needed new stockings that fit the theme.  Off to Target I went and lo and behold these darling burlap stockings called my name.

At 50% off I couldn’t pass them up and they were the perfect stockings for a ConfettiStyle Up-Style.

Enter these mink fur collars I purchased last month at Scott’s Antique Market for……wait for it…..

$4.00 for both!

A needle and thread and a few stitches later and my $$7.00 stockings looked like they were ready to enter the Christmas Stocking Hall of Fame.
