DIY Tutorials Using Paint

Paint Cans

Have you ever trolled Pinterest  or the web looking for DIY tutorials related to decorating and design?  Whatever project you’re looking to tackle, you’re sure to find a great tutorial out there to walk you through the steps.

I recently started saving decorating, decor and how-to tutorials on a Pinterest and thought it would be fun to share some of them with you from time to time.  Today I’ve got a round-up of paint related tutorials, from furniture and walls to bathtubs (who knew you could paint a bathtub).

Erin from DIY On The Cheap is a fellow Atlanta blogger and has a great tutorial on painting furniture and even though it’s written for beginning painters the tips are a great refresher for those of you who have been painting for a while.

How To Mix Art

Slide6

Choosing artwork is one of the hardest design decisions you can make simply because art is such a personal choice.  Most people have an affinity towards a particular style of artwork and most people are pretty clear on the type of artwork they don’t like.  While I’m pretty clear on the type of artwork I don’t like, I’m open to a wide range of artwork styles which can sometimes create a decorating challenge.

If you’re like me and are attracted to a variety of artwork styles then you too probably struggle with how to mix different styles together.

Today I’m going to talk about different ways to you combine artwork and share tips that will make the art of Mixing Art a whole lot easier.
