30 Days of Holidays: Thanksgiving Gifts

Hello Monday!

I’m super excited today because today’s the big day.  It’s the first day of 30 DAYS OF HOLIDAYS with ConfettiStyle!

I’ve been busy decorating, wrapping, crafting and diying to bring you a festive holiday post everyday, for the next 30 days!  I’ll be sharing my holiday decor, diy projects, holiday gift wrap, entertaining ideas and lots of  good old holiday decorating inspiration.  Plus I’ll have a couple of fun giveaways for you too!

So, ’tis the season and let the fun begin!

30 Days of Holidays—Thanksgiving Gifts

Like me, many of you will be heading to Thanksgiving dinner at the home of a family member or friend.  As a guest , I think it’s only fitting that you arrive at the dinner barring a gift or two.

To help with last-minute gift giving, I’ve put together four Thanksgiving idea boards that I’m calling Take, Wrap & Gift!

TAKE

is a little something you can bring to the dinner and share.

WRAP

shows you a fun way to giftwrap what you’re taking.

GIFT

is a hostess gift idea to say Thank You for a special day!

TAKE: A pie is always a great food item to take to a Thanksgiving Dinner and if you’re a baker, you just might want to try this Apple Pie recipe.

WRAP: Instead of putting your pie in a box, try something a little more creative like an inexpensive Bandana Gift Wrap accented with a vintage pie server and gift handmade gift tag.

GIFT: And to thank your hostess in style, these  Patterned Appetizer Plates are perfect for serving up that Thanksgiving pie!

TAKE:  I’ve been eating a lot of pumpkin bread this month and I think it’s the perfect party food to take to your Thanksgiving dinner.  I recently tried  this knock-off Starbucks Pumpkin Bread Recipe and it was yummy.

WRAP: In my book, your gift wrap should  make your gift even more special.  For a bread gift,  how about wrapping the bread in kraft paper and pairing it with a cutting wood cutting board.

GIFT: I think the perfect hostess gift to go with bread are these beautiful Acrylic Spreaders!

TAKE: If you’re looking for a unique food gift, handmade flavored salts are a great idea. Not only are they pretty but they can be enjoyed by everyone at the table.

WRAP:  Get creative with your wrapping and put the salts in test tubes and wrap several together as a set.

GIFT:  And what’s more perfect than these Crystal Acorn Salt and Pepper Shakers as a hostess gift!

TAKE: A bottle of wine is always a no-fail dinner party gift.  Buy the variety of wine your hostess likes and take along a bottle or two.  I’m a Pinot Noir girl and this wine is one of my faves.

WRAP: Wrapping wine doesn’t have to be boring.  Place the bottle in a plain wine bag, tie on a ribbon and add a decorative chalkboard sticker to write a sentiment.

GIFT: I always enjoy giving cocktail napkins as a hostess gift and these monogrammed cocktail napkins are not only chic but a great deal!

Here’s wishing you a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Thanks for stopping by.

I love all these ideas! The apple pie recipe is similar to my mom’s. She precooked the apples some and thickened them to perfection that way. I love the gift of different kinds of salt. Easy to buy a big bottle of each kind and break it into test tubes for different gatherings. Shelly, you have a gift for giving gifts and for decorating, too.
