One of my favorite online stores is Zazzle.  I discovered them a few years ago when I was looking for business cards.  Boy was I amazed at the enormous offering of card designs and how great the prices were.  Since then I’ve bought a variety of paper products from Zazzle including address labels and wrapping paper.

Most recently I ordered some monogram stickers so I could make my own monogram notecards.

There are hundreds of monogram sticker designs to choose from and it’s really easy to customize them with your initials.  I ordered both small ( 1 1/2″ ) and large  (3″) to use with different size cards.  The other great thing about Dazzle is that they are constantly running sales, up to 50% off so if you sign up for their emails or watch their website you can great a great deal on stickers.  I purchased the larger stickers which in a set of 6 for $2.75.  The small stickers came in a set of 20 and at the sale price they were only $3.47.

Enough about the stickers, let me know you the cards I made.

I’m almost embarrassed to tell you how simple it was to make these cards but I’m going to because I know you’ll want to order your own stickers and make cards for yourself.

Since I wanted blue and white chinoiserie patterned notecards, I picked up a pack of heavy weight cardstock from Hobby Lobby.  The 12″ x 12″ pack includes 20 different designs all in blue and white.   They also sell a 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ size pack.

I cut different designs of paper into pieces that measured 5 3/4″ w x 8 1/2″ t and then folded the pieces in half to make notecards that would fit in a 5 3/4″ w x 4 1/2″ t envelope.  Then I placed a sticker in the center of each card. It that easy.

tip:  the best way to get a sharp fold crease is with a bone folder.

While I was in a  crafting mood, I also made some small cards that could be used as enclosure cards or as gift tags.
