One of my favorite accent furniture pieces is a garden stool. Specifically blue and white garden stools.
As the popularity of chinoiserie and blue and white decor has gained steam over the last few years, so has the use of garden stools as a decorative accent.
If you’ve never considered a garden stool as part of your decor, let me tell you why they are a great design option.
#1 Ceramic garden stools can be used indoors or out. As an outdoor accent they are perfect as a unique side table and can also be used for additional seating in a pinch.
#2 Used indoors as a side table, blue and white garden stools create the perfect perch for a cocktail, book or footstool.
#3 The next time you want to fill that space under a console table, consider a pair of garden stools which will add color and visual interest.
#4 Next to a desk, a ceramic garden stool creates an additional work surface to place a stack of books or work papers.
#5 I love the idea of placing a garden stool next to the bathtub. Not only is it a pretty accent but it’s a great spot to hold your towel or bubble bath.
