I love walking through show houses and adding design ideas to my file. Even if I can’t see the show houses in person, it’s great to be able to see photos via the web. Here’s a bit of design inspiration from the recent Utah County Parade of Homes.
I love the soft, muted color story used in this room. Using two different fabrics on side by side chairs adds personality to the room.
One of my favorite looks is a desk placed behind a sofa.
The mix of textures used in this room give it lots of interest.
Love this left and right chair set because it is so functional…together or apart!
My friend Martha (aka, the chair lady) and I saw a set in a thrift store recently and passed them by. Martha, if you’re reading this, I think the set belongs in the sitting area of your kitchen.
The touches of teal give this kitchen depth without over-powering it. The backsplash is fabulous and so are the upholstered stools.
A fun kitchen nook made even cuter with a mix of chair styles.
A stylish home office.
Love, love, love this bedroom. The soft teal and pop of yellow are so refreshing.
The perfect patterned pillow mix!
A stylish way to keep the household organized.
Bold colored pillows are always fun. And that wood trunk with upholstered linen top is awesome.
Angled furniture often doesn’t work, but it does in this space.
What is it about bunk beds that’s makes them so charming? I love the red, black and white color theme and the mix of patterns.
Just fun!
Creative spaces do need to be creative after all.
Most of the time it’s the little things that make a home feel special.
Hope you enjoyed the view from Utah!
