Boo!

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  The hubby and I attended a Halloween party on Sunday evening that our friends Suenette and Dan throw each year.  The party is over-the-top fabulous and includes some the most amazing Halloween decor I’ve seen, so of course I had to share it with you.

Before we just into photos, let me set the stage…
1.  Over 100 Scarecrows
2.  Lots and Lots of folk art and collectible paper-mache Halloween decor
3.  Two fully decorated Halloween Trees
4.  A massive Christopher Radko Halloween Ornament display
5.  A Dept. 56 Halloween village
6.  Lots of oversized witches, vampires and Dracula’s
7.  Bails of hay and a bon fire
8.  Over 30 lbs. of ground beef to make chili
9.  Costume criteria:  Everyone must wear a fun hat
10.  Drink lots of  “the recipe” and have loads of fun!  (p.s.  no one knows the ingredients in the “recipe” but I will tell you it will knock you off your feet!)

Now that the stage is set, enjoy the images…

Two of Suenette’s neighbor, who happen to be sculpture artist showed up in these amazing 9′ tall costumes which they made

 The chili was delicious

and, Happy Scarecrows said goodbye when it was time to leave!

The party was a blast!

Hope you have a great Halloween too!

Absolutely gorgeous! I had seen a few photos that Suenette has shared with me and was amazed – but seeing all of the ones posted on the blog is beyond what I expected.. I can’t imagine the time it must have taken to prepare for this…but in the end it’s truly worth the effort.. Spectacular!! What an amazing Halloween party it must have been. Thank you for sharing…
