Hi friends. I hope everyone had a great weekend.
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I took the hubby on a little adventure on Sunday. I learned about a wildlife safari from my friend Yuni and knew my hubby would love it. The safari is about an hour ways from Atlanta and gives you up close and personal interaction with the animals.
Now that the weekend is over, I’ve got a busy week of design work ahead and I’m looking for some fresh inspiration to inspire me.
Whenever I need a dose of design inspiration, I turn to the design portfolios of my favorite designers. Here’s a round-up on spaces I’m crushing on at the moment, each filled with amazing design details…

SARAH RICHARDSON
This den space design by one of my design idols, Sarah Richardson is beautiful beyond words. The room serves as an office space as well as a guest bedroom. I just love the idea of using the chaise lounges as a chic bedroom alternative.
There’s no other way to describe the kitchen in this London flat other than pretty! The color palette is soothing and sophisticated and I love the dark wood table in the center that makes everything pop.
STUDIO MCGEE
I’m a fan of black walls and the office space and kitchen in this home are just stunning!
You know it was the blue and white color palette of this living/dining area that caught my eye. I love the floral wallpaper, layered rugs and brass fixtures.
MARK D. SIKES
This writing desk vignette is simple, classic and stylishly elegant.
This foyer space is a lesson in pattern mixing. Don’t be afraid to use a variety of patterns to create visual interest and personalized style.
This moody family room is filled with design details–layers of texture, pattern and neutral colors. Texture is definitely one of the most important elements in creating a cozy and inviting space.
I think everyone needs a source of inspiration that fuels their creativity and moves them to be the best they can be.
