I’m always thinking about creative ways to wrap gifts, using things I have on hand and challenging my creativity to create something that is festive and impactful.
We all know that I am somewhat of a wrapping paper fanatic but I never pass up the opportunity to add to my “collection”. When my dear friend Tina gifted me a roll of this beautiful embossed white wrapping paper ( a $1.99 thrift store find) knees it would be perfect for wrapping a Spring birthday gift.
To add a little color but take nothing away from the paper, I decided to put my circle punches to work with a handful of paint chips from the hardware store. I cut various size circles, layered them and then taped the stacks to a strand of white cross stitch floss. If you’ve never used it before, cross stitch floss is an inexpensive and fun alternative to wrapping a gift with string or narrow ribbon.
I just love how cheery and fun my wrapped gift turned out….perfect for a Spring celebration!
Wishing you all a fabulous week ahead!

Thank you Rashon. I love gift wrapping and when it can be done on the “cheap” even better.
