Ok, I know it not even Halloween yet, but today I want to share a little Christmas inspiration in case, like me, you’re already planning, preparing and scheming about the holiday season.
It’s not secret that I love gift wrap. I love colorful paper, decorative designs and lots of embellishments. I also love the simplicity of plain paper, simple ribbon and a small accent or two.
My current gift wrap fixation is white on white with a touch of color and here’s some inspiration using that color combo!
Enjoy and be inspired!
Bakers twine works to wrap gifts no matter the season. Add a DIY gift tag or a small ornament and your gifts will look über chic.
Another easy gift wrap accent for white paper is a clay gift tag. You can find these at most craft stores or you can DIY you own.
On Tuesday I talked about using a wax seal to personalize your letters and cards. Well, here’s another great use for a wax seal–use it to secure ribbon to the top of a gift.
Classic Christmas–red and white ribbon with a sprig of evergreen.
White gift wrapping is perfect for “use what you have” accessorizing. Pull out your stash of tray buttons and use them to embellish a gift.
I admittedly hoard scraps of gift wrap and here’s a great way to use those pieces–a decorative package band!
Fabric scraps can also be used as a ribbon alternative.
