This past weekend I made a visit to Scott Antique Market. If you’ve read my blog for a while, you know that I have a love to antique and thrift shopping and Scott’s Antique Market is a regular appointment on my calendar. Scott is one of the largest markets in the country and the offering of product ranges from high-end antiques to custom production pieces, to one-of-a-kind handmade items and lots of fabulous junk treasures thrown into the mix.
Since I was busy shopping, I didn’t stop to take a ton of pictures but did manage to snap a few shots of some really great stuff.
Linen upholstered furniture can be found all over Scott but this chair was one of the beauties that stood out to me!
I love accessorizing bookcases and iron finials like these are a perfect accent for bookshelves. The set of three was selling for $55.00.
I fell head over heels for these oval back chairs. Covered in linen, the detail on the upper back as stunning. The lighter colored linen surround an oval wood inset and oval burlap center. These chairs are a great mix of classic styling with a modern twist! Only $375 a chair.
Love this little French style settee which sold early during the show. The mix of fabric and wood finish work perfectly together.
There are lots of beautiful pillows to be had at Scott. I loved these bold colored Ikat pillows ($40 each) AND the clover leaf ottomans they sat on.
Another great accent stool.
I ran across this vendor from North Carolina that was showing product for the first time at the market. They make the most beautiful headboards. This damask pattern was stunning and I loved the fact that by removing a couple of screws, you could remove the upholstered insert and recover it in a new fabric when the mood struck you. There headboards ranged from $700 to $1100…great pricing!
Here’s a up close of the headboard insert.
And another more modern headboard style they make. This vendor has the ability to make any size, shape and style of headboard you want! Definitely a new resource I’m adding to my list.
In addition to headboards, they also make footstools and benches. I love the octagon stool.
And, they also make pillows and sell them for an incredible price…2 for $50.00 (with down insert). Needless to say, the pillows were flying out the door.
Way in the back of the North building sat this incredible console cabinet. It caught my eye from across the room.
The drawer and door fronts are covered in a fine linen and accented with nailhead trim. Such design detail and beauty!
I did pick up a few small pieces while shopping….
Vintage Rubber Stamp Holder–I’ve been looking for one of these for a while and was super excited to pick this up for only $5.00!
Vintage Christmas Postcards–lots of holiday projects just waiting for these!
Vintage Bracelets–these will be available in the ConfettiStyle shop soon.
So there you have it, a few highlights from my recent visit to Scott Antique Market. If you love antiques and thrifting, and have never come to Scott, you must add it to your list. The show takes place the second weekend of each month and is a true treasure hunt.

Looks like a fun market. I loved the French seatee! Does the company that makes the headboards and IKAT pillows have a website to order from?

Hi there,
Unfortunately this company does not have a website they sell from. The site is informational only http://newtonscustomupholstery.com.p9.hostingprod.com/. This was there first time at the market so I’m hoping they will be there next month too.
