Every now and then I think about the little things in life that brighten my day, make mundane task a bit more enjoyable and simply bring me joy.
As a child, I loved to draw, color and write.
Writing was apart of my everyday routine, especially given that my mom was an english teacher. So, it is no wonder that a simple little pencil brought me joy.
As an adult, I still have a things for pencils. I love fancy pencils, with petty designs and perfectly round erasers. I don’t like to use the erasers on the end of my pencils since that will mess up their look, so I always have a chunky old school eraser near by.
Everyday, I spend many hours at my desk, making list, taking notes and drawing design plans, and it’s a small indulgence like pretty pencils that make my day that much brighter.
