I’ve really never given it much thought in the past, but I’ve recently been thinking a lot about Leap Year and the extra day we will get to enjoy this year. I really want to take advantage of that extra day and have pondered how I will spend it. I think I’m going to plan a day of New Experiences, doing things I don’t normally do or going places I just never seem to fit into my schedule. I’m narrowing down my list, but am thinking about a few fun adventures like…
Taking a painting class.
Taking a cooking class….(I know my hubby would love this)~
Visiting a local attraction like Stone Mountain. Although I’ve been to Stone Mountain, for the Country Living Fair last year, I’ve never really spent time in the park and explored all it has to offer.
Find a new flea market (or two) and spend the day shopping.
Take a professional dance class–something I’ve wanted to do for years.
White Water Rafting–I’ve done this once before (in October) but would love to do it again in warmer weather!
Volunteer to build a house for someone!
With 2012 being only two months old, now’s the time to think about how you’ll spend the extra day in the year.
I hope you’ll follow in my footsteps and do something new, fun or challenging!
