** Instead of a traditional box, wrap you gift in a unique container like a paint can or wood box.

** If you can’t find a masculine themed wrapping paper, get creative and use an old shirt, a piece of fabric, kraft paper or newspaper as gift wrap to keep the gift man friendly.

** Forgo pretty ribbon and use leather cording or a tie to add the finishing touch to your gift.

** Instead of a paper gift tag, use a key fob as a gift tag.

What to Get Mom for Mother’s Day?

Greetings! I hope you had a great weekend! My weekend started off awesome and ended the same way so I have nothing to complain about. The sunny skies and warm weather were an added bonus.

Did you get out and do any shopping this weekend? Maybe looking for a Mother’s Day gift like me?

If you were out and about you probably noticed that a lot of stores have spring sales going on now. It’s a great time to pick up spring fashion accessories, home décor accents and spring footwear.

Outside the holiday season, the spring and early summer months are prime gift giving times with graduations, weddings, mother’s day, father’s day and many of my friends and family’s birthdays taking place during these months. Shopping at the last-minute for gifts is not something I like to do so I tend to keep a stash of essential gifts on hand in my gift closet.
