Happy Monday!
I’ve got a handful of diy projects that have been waiting in the wings and I’ve finally decided to take action and in the words of Nike…just do it!
One of the projects I’ll be working on is giving my desk chair a facelift. I pretty sure I’ve mentioned this chair before here on the blog but let me give you the 411 again.
I got a great deal on this Ballard Design Hartman office chair at the outlet here in Atlanta. The chair sells for $249 but I only paid $39. Score! I got such a great deal because two of the casters were bent and not functioning but one look at them and I knew I could easily replace them.
I purchased new brass casters in the identical style from Amazon and my hubby switched them out for me.
Now it’s come time for the next phase in this great chair facelift…to decide what color to paint the frame and which fabric is use on the seat. This is where I need your input.
The frame of the chair is currently charcoal which looks like a dark bronze. I’m think of either metallic gold or gloss black for the frame and one of these fabrics…

Here’s a glimpse at my red desk in case that helps you pick. And, the knobs may or may not change depending on the fabric I use on the chair.
So, which paint/fabric combo is your favorite?
