I’ve been busy the last couple of months creating the ConfettiStyle Holiday Gift Guide.
Starting this Friday, Nov. 7th and every Friday throughout the month on November I’ll be bringing you my picks for the best gifts of the season.

The other day I popped into Paper Source to pick up some of the wood leaves they sell for a gift wrapping project. As I usually do when I go to Paper Source, I spent some time wandering around checking out all the cool stuff they have.
Most of you probably think of Paper Source as just a gift wrapping and packaging supply store but I’m here to tell you they have so many other cool items.
As I wandered around the store I kept coming across items I thought would work great as part of a Thanksgiving table setting. I was so inspired I decided to pull together an inspiration board showing you how I’d use gift wrap, gift items and crafting supplies to set a table.
Paper Source inspired Thanksgiving table setting: I love using wrapping paper as a table runner and this Multi Stem Flower Wrapping Paper is the perfect color and pattern for a festive Thanksgiving table. This Burlap Wreath Kit will make a pretty centerpiece and you’ll get to do a little crafting when you make it. Add a glass hurricane in the center to great a beautiful candle centerpiece. I fell in love with these Wooden Fall Leaves when I saw them on-line and after seeing them in person I think they’d make great coasters for your fall table. Coat each leave with Mod Podge to seal the surface. Every beautiful table needs pretty candle holders. The Peony and Rose Vanilla Candle in this chic gold chevron glass jar will add an elegant touch to your table. Another great use for wrapping paper is to cut it into squares and use it as a place mat alternative. This Thick Cherry Wood Paper is ideal to use on the table and adds a rustic touch to the decor. Taking a color cue from the paper runner, these Mint Patterned Napkins are the perfect color and pattern accent against the gold and brown elements on the table. To make a simple napkin ring for your table just wrap one of these Thanksgiving Scallop Oval Stickers around each rolled napkins on the table. So what do you think of this fun tablescape? Paper Source has a ton of great product so the next time you’re in the store take a look around and see what you can create.
Every season I do a little refresh of the bed linens on our bed. I like to change things up a bit to reflect the colors of the season and how I’m feeling.
With the onset of fall it was time for the pink and red pillows to move out and rich, warm colors to move in.

Here in Atlanta, I think our string of hot days is over and cooler fall weather is here to stay. This has prompted me to get busy and complete my summer to fall closet transition.
Every year as I begin to remove the summer items from my closet, I challenge myself to think about ways I might we able to wear each piece of clothing into the new season so I can maximize my investment. There are some pieces of clothing where the fabric, pattern or color just won’t work in cooler weather but for others there is hope.

I was once a purist when it came to pumpkins and would only decorate with orange ones. Over the last few years I’ve fallen in love with whites and green pumpkins and the sophisticated feel they can add to your decor.
I know like most of America you are probably busy decorating with pumpkins inside your home.
You might be creating a beautiful centerpiece for your table
Or you might be accessorizing your mantel with white pumpkins.
As you embrace the fall season, don’t forget about all the creative ways you can decorated with white pumpkins outside your home.
Happy Fall!

This year it was a use what you have decorating project so all it took was trip to the garage, washing some glass pieces and a little faux bois wrapping paper.
I love using wrapping paper for a table runner and this faux wood grain paper is perfect for a fall tablescape.
Whenever I create a centerpiece arrangement I always use items that will add texture and I always create layers. I used several of my vintage trophy urns to elevate pumpkins and to hold small containers of mums. Instead of using all one color of pumpkin, I used a variety which gives the centerpiece lots of depth.
My collection of cloches and glass domes is ever-growing and they are great to use on the table.
Pumpkins perched on top of urns and under glass create the layered look I love.
When the clock strikes FALL tomorrow, I’m all ready to usher in the season.

If you’re looking to update a guest bedroom, consider twin beds instead of a single bed. Twin beds can provide that same level of style and comfort as a queen or king bed and can you more sleeping options for a house full of guest.
Design Tip: A quick way to add warmth and layers to a bedroom for fall is by adding a decorative or colorful throw at the foot of the bed. The pop of color and the added texture are perfect fall touches.
