I mentioned last week that the hubby and I will be spending Thanksgiving day with good friends. Since we won’t be preparing dinner at our house I thought we’d plan a special Thanksgiving Eve meal, which of course meant I had to create a pretty Thanksgiving tablescape.
Using items I already owned, here’s the Table for 2 that I pulled together!~
I always incorporate a lot of texture and pattern into my tablescapes. I filled my large dough bowl with assorted pumpkins, flower stems and feathers.
My wood chargers are one of my favorite thrift store finds. Mixing them with white plates provides a great contrast in color.
A couple of years ago I purchased water goblets in a variety of colors and pulled out the purple ones for this table setting.
These patterned salad plates are perfect for a fall table and add that pop of pattern I love.
I used curtain rings with clips for the napkin rings and clipped on a handwritten placecard.
My DIY striped candles worked great with the patterns and colors on my table.
The perfect setting for two!
