I’ve only been back from NY for a week and oh do I miss it. Despite the fact that our trip was only a few days, I did manage to see the a lot of the city, visit a few of my favorite stores and take in the sights. Since you couldn’t be with me, I thought I’d bring New York to you (in no particular order).
Enjoy!
The famous Bouchon Bakery and their even more famous Macarons! I’m not a Macaron fan but did try the lemon tart (below Macarons) and it was delicious!
Isn’t this book wall incredible? None other than Anthropologie! I so wanted to pull out just one of the books to see what would happen.
Amazing store window at Anthropologie in Rockefeller Center.
The Lego Store. Amazing and so very expensive!
Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
Thought of Robin Roberts when we passed the ABC Studios.
The C Wonder store in Soho. My heart skipped a beat…
The store windows were simple but dynamic…
And, the DJ inside had the entire store rockin’!
I loved that there were random displays of Christmas trees all around the city.
The Fashion Institute of Technology. I dreamed of going to this school when I was young.
One of my all time favorite stores on earth…Kate’s Paperie!
Grand Central Station! I was hoping a flash mob would bust out.
A wall plaque and rebuilding at Ground Zero!
A beautiful historic NY building!
Department store window display.
So many buildings were draped in garland and lights. Stunning!
Inside Macy’s Times Square store. Mob scene!
We ducked into the M and M store for a look. You could smell the sugar outside the front door.
This was another store with a DJ and I stopped to take part in the electric slide while we were there.
Inside a NY office building.
One of the Christmas windows at Macy’s.
Early morning in New York.
The amazing New York City Library. One day I’m going to go in and read a book, just to say I did.
When you can’t go out…go up! Check out the 1/2 hour fee!
Another store that was on my list to visit…Tinsel Trading Co. Beyond amazing! You can visit them online here.
Their ribbon selection was over the moon…
And so was their embellishment department…
And their trim department!
And, we couldn’t pass up Times Square at night!
Only in New York!
I took a ton more pics and will be uploading them onto my Facebook page so head their to check it out.
And, for even more holiday cheer, check out this video of the Saks Christmas Window unveiling!
