There’s a New Shop In Town

Just when I thought shopping for antiques and vintage items couldn’t get any better here in Atlanta, a new store opens offering up even more treasures!

The Chamblee Antiques and Interiors store opened a few weeks ago and has booth after booth of vintage and antique treasures.  Because the multi-dealer shop has booths owned by a different proprietors the mix of products ranges from classic antiques to mid-century modern, industrial, Asian and rustic vintage.

Here’s a look at some of the things that caught my eye on a recent visit….

My friends Lance and David from Parker Kennedy Living had these lovely Asian figurines in their booth.  They were just captivating.

I loved this little bamboo bench.  Super cute as a little accent in a guest bedroom.

The wood crate full of vintage bottles was cool but at $185 it stayed in the store.

Loved this scale and thought about it for a brief second but decided to wait.

The brass bowl was oversized and really beautiful.

A pretty little silver cracker dish (would also be great to hold pens and pencils on a desk).

These ceramic urns were really stunning.  They measured about 16″ tall.

This vintage terrarium expensive but really nice.  I can just  imagine a cluster of succulents nestled inside.

The Asian wall plaques was great.  I’d paint it an antique ivory color it would be a bit more versatile to decorate with.

Lovely bright orange cabinet.

Lots of ironstone!

A pretty hand-painted chest of drawers.  I loved how tall the piece was.

A fun vintage sewing tin.

Isn’t it amazing that you can turn just about anything into a lamp these days?

This cowhide bench was nice.

I saw this vintage rack and immediately thought about how great spools of ribbons would look stored on it.

 

I have a thing for benches and bamboo!
