There are so many incredible shops on Etsy, but one of my favorites is City Girls Decor, owned and operated by Kristina.
What I love about City Girls Decor are the transformations they give to ordinary decorative accessories, using just paint. With one of the hottest trends in home decor being brights, City Girls Decor has a great selection of pieces perfect for making that statement in your home. They’ve also got pieces in more traditional colors like black, gold and white if that fits your style better.
The other day I was looking through the City Girls shop and so many pieces caught my eye, but three pieces in particular inspired me to create design boards.
Here are my three “faves of the moment” pieces from City Girls Decor and the room designs that they inspired!
Bohemian Chic Wall Sconces $34 for the pair
Since red is my favorite color, I couldn’t help but gravitate to these faux wicker candle sconces. Love the texture, high gloss finish and the price!
I thought these sconces would be ideal in a causal family room filled with bright colors and whimsical patterns. They look great flanking the bright floral artwork don’t you think?
Bohemian Chic Frame Collection $64 for the set of 5
Remember my Gallery Wall post from Monday, these frames are the perfect starting point for your GWD project. Not only does City Girls offer different collections of frames, if you need them in a particular color to work with your decor, Kristina can make it happen.
I think these frames would be the perfect focal point for a kid’s playroom. Use the frames to create a gallery wall over a row of white bookcases, turn one into a bulletin board and another into a chalkboard and you’ve got a fun display and activity wall. So cute!
Black Pocket Wall Sconce $30 for the pair.
I adore the Wall Pockets! Besides using them in a LR/FR as wall decor, I think they’d be pretty fab hanging in the bathroom to hold a toothbrush, toothpaste etc.
The high-gloss wall pockets inspired me to create a glamorous living room with lots of black, modern patterns and lush textures. After all, glamorous accessories require a glamorous space and these are perfect for flanking a dynamic mirror like this antique gold starburst.
