My Christmas Tablescape

Hi all,

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  My weekend was jam-packed with activities….a little Christmas shopping, decorating for a client, making Christmas cards, crafting gift tags and setting my Christmas table.  Sunday ended with me feeling a bit under the weather so I downed some NyQuil and slept like a baby.

I’m feeling better today and wanted to share my Christmas Table with you.

This year, my table is a mix of red, white, silver and natural linen.  I hope you like it!

I found this printed linen fabric at Hancock’s and knew it would be perfect as the foundation of my table decor.  I left the edges raw just to keep things a bit more casual.

Along with silver ornaments, I added in a few of my vintage silver pieces.  This oblong silver plated tray holds a collection of ornaments.

I used my mercury glass Christmas trees in the center of the table along with a red and silver box from Homegoods and a scattering of ornaments.

I love my silver chargers.  They are glass with a silver bubble texture on the back side.  The dinner plate and salad plate are from my china set and the small bread plate is from my Mom’s china set which she gave me a few years ago. Her plates have an embossed floral pattern around the rim, but they work great with my simple pattern.

At each place setting, I placed an ornament that I made.  I covered a round cardboard coaster with sheet music, added saying tag, small silver ornament and a piece of silver tinsel ribbon.

On the back of each dining chair, I hung a metal cone filled with silver ornaments and a sprig of silver greenery.  The cones are tied to the chair with a beautiful silver ribbon.  I use these cones every Christmas and change out the elements inside.

Small Christmas trees add texture and a touch of traditional Christmas spirit!

Silver snowflake candle holders and small tealights in silver containers are also scattered around the table.

I really love how my table turned out this year.  I love the pops of red and all the shimmer the silver and mercury glass adds.  Now, it’s time to celebrate!

Hope you enjoyed a peek into my Christmas decor.  More to come this week!

Very pretty, I love the fabric you used from Hancocks, I think I need to go and get some. Your plates are very similar to what I am using this year. TFS
