Off to the Pumpkin Patch

Have you started decorating for all and if so, are pumpkins part of your decorating plan?  Me, I’m planning to pick up a few pumpkins this weekend that will carry me through fall and into Halloween.  I do want to decorate my pumpkins, but  I’m not into carving faces into them so I might try my hand at something a little different.

Maybe something like this….

When it come to decorating your pumpkins, do you take the traditional route or do you decorate your jack-o-lanterns in an unexpected way?

Creative Ways to Accent Your Dining Table with Napkins

When it comes to setting your table for a special occasion or holiday celebration, it’s the little touches that you do with your tablescape that really make it stand out.

Little touches like incorporating your dinner napkins into your tablescape in an unexpected and unique way….

I love the idea of placing the dinner napkins on the backs of the chairs.  Monogrammed or embroidered dinner napkins are perfect for this and will add an element of style to the tablescape.

A colorful dinner napkin is all it takes to make a table come to life.  When using clear plates, a dinner napkin place under the plates will provide the perfect visual impact.

I love the triangular tail of this dinner napkin over the plate.  The point breaks provides contrast to all the circular elements on the table.

A bow tie fold is such a fun look for a ladies lunch, bridal shower or elegant dinner party.  You can accent the center of the napkin with just about anything depending on your party theme.

Let your napkins do double duty by creating a pocket in the fold and tucking the menu card inside.  A simple iron on number transfer serves as the place marker.

This is one of my favorite looks and is the perfect accent to square dinner plates.  Layering is the key to a dynamic table and the napkin enhances it all.

And if you’re into napkin folding, how about a whimsical touch for a spring brunch or easter dinner!

I’m in the midst of pulling together my fall tablescape and I’m inspired to try something new with my dinner napkins.  Stay tuned for the results!

Have you begun decorating for fall yet?

Have an awesome weekend and take some time to just enjoy the beginnings of FALL!

It’s a WONDERful Place

Last Saturday I attended the grand opening of the new C Wonder store here in Atlanta at Lenox Mall.  I’ve purchased from C Wonder via the internet and love everything they have to offer so I was super excited that they were opening a store in the ATL.  Despite a crazy schedule of events this weekend, I didn’t want to miss the big day.

Here’s my morning at C Wonder in photos (sorry for a few blurry iPhone photos).

Bright window displays showcasing some of their wares!

Green and white french doors with their chic “C” logo!

This is their Easy Tote which comes in a ton of colors and has a metal C medallion.  I love this bag and guarantee they must have sold hundreds this weekend given the number of women I saw with one in hand.

Throughout the store they had some fun display elements…this MoPed was adorable!

Fun wall alcoves to display product in.

C Wonder has lots of stylish accessories!

A cute tablescape with their Bamboo dinnerware.

Classic Blue and White home decor!  The Foo Dog was a design trend throughout the store.

More display alcoves, this time framed out.

Loved these monogram plates I bought one with my last initial.

Love, love, love this navy Ikat dinnerware!  The bowls would be so cute to store bracelets in and the salad plates would look great hung on a wall.

Lots of bright clothing for sale…perfect for the last weeks of summer.

 Stylish Foo Dog bookends…only $58.

 More decorative plates!

Another cute display using their retro CITY BIKES which were for sale!

Fun summer dresses and lots of jewelry.

C Wonder Cosmetic cases and bags are awesome.  Lots of colors and patterns.

And their cute shopping bags…two of which came home with me.

I hope you have a C Wonder store near you, if not head to their website to check out all their fantastic items.  The holidays are just around the corner and C Wonder is definitely a place to shop of unique gifts.

p.s.  Many of their nylon bags, cases and totes can be monogrammed which adds that personal touch.
